Buchanan Computing is a successful private company based in Hammersmith, London. It specialises in developing, supplying and supporting software for traffic engineering and highway management throughout the British Isles. It is the UK’s foremost supplier of computer mapping (GIS) software to traffic and highway professionals and is also prominent in traffic sign design.

Origins

Buchanan Computing was formed in 1997 to expand and develop the existing software group within Colin Buchanan, the well-known transport and planning consultants. It is now an independent company, but maintains close links with its former parent.
