Buchanan Computing is a successful private company based in Hammersmith, London. It specialises in developing, supplying and supporting software for traffic engineering and highway management throughout the British Isles. It is the UK’s foremost supplier of both computer mapping (GIS) software to traffic and highway professionals, and systems for traffic sign and sign structure design.

Origins

Buchanan Computing was formed in 1997 to expand and develop the existing software group within what is now SKM Colin Buchanan. It is completely independent of its former parent, but often works with them on joint projects.
