The site offers our clients the opportunity to assess different combinations of base mapping, prior to them being deployed as part of their Traffweb system. The zoom layering allows users to drill down from a national picture, provided by MiniScale, to local areas of interest. New to this release is Open Maps layers, the latest addition to Ordnance surveys open data sets. It replaces StreetView and, sitting on top of MasterMap, provides an excellent context for displaying larger areas of data, such as those associated with a housing estate or town centre.
BuchananMapping, along with its sister site Buchananmaps.co.uk, is in constant use serving the non MasterMap mapping elements to our many Traffweb sites. These sites are provided with a UK-wide Gazetteer of streets, towns, points of interest and postcodes developed by Buchanan Computing.
