Making Parking and TRO data open

We are currently in the testing phase of our new open API, enabling on-street parking data to be streamed. The API will be the first to serve this information in the new APDS and TRO-D formats.

With over one hundred top tier authorities using Buchanan’s ParkMap application, this new interface will enable app developers to access data relating to all types of on-street parking and stopping restrictions across most of the country.

The API can be used in conjunction with OS open data, Google, Bing and Apple maps. It will be embedded as part of Traffweb, the web service component of ParkMap 7’s cloud service.
